Check your HEB mobile app for a *possible* $2 off your basket coupon, good when you spend $2 or more on fresh apples! (If you're not familiar with how basket coupons work, go here for my how-to guide!)
This is a "Only For You" coupon, which means it's typically only available to HEB app users who have turned on Promotions to receive special coupons. It's good for a single use per app and expires on July 29, 2020.
Here's an idea to snag if you received this coupon like I did:
American Dream Apples -- 2 lb bags priced at $2.97 each, with a $1 off digital coupon also available in the HEB mobile app (good through July 7, 2020.)
Enter your digital app info at checkout to use BOTH the $2 off basket coupon and the $1 off apple coupon.
Your 2 lb bag of apples will be FREE! Note that both these coupons are HEB store coupons, so you will not receive overage towards the rest of your purchase.
Here's how to turn Promotions on in your HEB mobile app if you haven't done it yet:
Open your app and go to your Account tab. On Android, it's on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. (I don't have an iPhone to speak to where the tab is for Apple users; maybe someone else will give us a heads-up in the comments!)
Tap Account, then scroll down and tap Communication.
Make sure the Promotions & Announcements button is set to blue. That gives HEB permission to send you these special discounts.
