Who's ready to celebrate National Taco Day on Saturday, October 4? This has to be one of the most popular food holidays in Texas. Check out this list of freebies and deals planned at restaurants around the country, courtesy of RetailMeNot! I'll be adding other local restaurants to the list throughout the week, so save this and check back.
National Taco Day 2020 Freebies & Deals
Chronic Tacos -- On October 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Chronic Tacos is giving one free taco (Chicken, Al Pastor, Carnitas or Beyond Beef) to customers. To redeem the free taco, follow Chronic Tacos on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter @Chronictacos. A code word will be mentioned a week in advance, and that’s your way to get your freebie.
Chuy’s -- On October 4, add a crispy beef taco to entry entrée for $1. There are also tequila specials. Now through October 4, dress like a taco and post a photo with #chuystacoday on social media for a chance to win a free taco meal kit. Winners will be selected at random.
Fuzzy’s Tacos -- They are offering $1.50 tacos all day on October 4 at their nearly 150 locations in 16 states. Head to your neighborhood Fuzzy’s and celebrate with a breakfast taco or Baja taco (or both)! This year, you can enjoy your tacos on a Fuzzy’s patio with a FuzzyRita or bring them home for a taco party with your family! Special National Taco Day pricing is valid for dine-in, and for the first time ever will also be available for takeout and online orders placed through the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop website and app.
goPuff -- On October 4, anyone who enters the code “gotaco” at checkout will receive $10 off their order. The promo is available on orders of $18 and up at this online convenience store.
Hurricane Grill & Wings -- Get one free taco with the purchase of one taco and two drinks on October 4.
On the Border -- On October 4, get seasoned ground beef or chicken tinga tacos for $2, and for only $4 you can get Southwest chicken or brisket tacos.
Rubio’s -- Get a free taco with drink purchase at Rubio’s on October 4.
Taco Bell -- This year, Taco Bell is offering a National Taco Day $5 Gift Set containing two crunchy tacos and two Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos. Digital gift cards will be available for those looking to share this gift from afar.
Taco Boy -- Taco Boy is celebrating National Taco Day by giving one lucky winner a year’s worth of free tacos. Here’s how to enter: Starting September 27 through October 3 at 10 p.m., get one raffle ticket entry with every taco purchased at any Taco Boy location. On National Taco Day, Taco Boy will draw a winner to receive a gift card good for 365 tacos ($1,460 value). Only one winner will be chosen, and Taco Boy will announce the winner through social media on National Taco Day.
Taco Cabana -- Taco Cabana is offering unlimited bean & cheese, shredded chicken, or ground beef tacos for only $1 each October 2 through October 4.
Taco John’s -- On October 4, you can get a free Crispy Beef Taco by using the Taco John’s Rewards app in honor of National Taco Day.
Tijuana Flats -- Tijuana Flats is celebrating National Taco Day for three days. Starting October 4, get two tacos, chips and a drink for just $5.99 all day Friday through Sunday.
