Next, check out the two scenarios below:
Powerade Power Water -- 6-packs priced 3 for $10.
Buy nine 6-packs for $30 out of pocket, then receive your $10 catalina coupon to use later in August.
That's like a final price of $20 for all nine 6-packs, or $2.22 per pack. So that's like paying 37 cents per bottle!
Now, if you prefer traditional Powerade, you can try this larger scenario:
Powerade -- assorted 28 oz varieties priced at 74 cents each.
Mix and match 41 bottles for $30.34 out of pocket, then receive your $10 catalina coupon to use later in August.
That's like a final price of $20.34 for all 41 bottles, which works out to about 50 cents per bottle!
FAIR WARNING: Catalina promotions at HEB are getting more and more popular with couponers, but cashiers (and stores!) aren't always up to speed when a new promotion starts. So if you want to pick this up, be prepared to follow up with the manager on duty if your catalina doesn't print and/or your cashier isn't familiar with the promotion. It's much easier to get this addressed at the register or immediately after you shop, although you can go back in the next day to talk to a manager if it's necessary. I recommend bringing a copy of the weekly ad to the register with you, since the catalina promotion is advertised on page 4 of the August 12 ad! You can also request your reprinted catalina online, although obviously you will have to wait longer to get the new catalina mailed to you.
Also, note that you can only request ONE reprinted catalina per promotion -- another reason to get everything resolved right away at the store!
